Even i never got any permanent releif from LF....But I kept going. And it IS a complicated tedious process which makes you tied to toilet bowl for at least 1.5 days. And gives you sleepless nights and nausea and vomiting. All to get those silly green stones. And in the end, the releif is NOT PERMANENT. You have to do it again and again.... What the hell is this insanity.??
There got to be SMARTER ways to cleanse the liver.
Sorry I have nothing against Liver Flushers. I thing they are the most disciplined ppl who want to take serious steps to improve their health.
But the process is nothing but quackery, and the benefits ( if any) and short lived.

Sorry I have NOT failed in my efforts. I have no regrets that I have tried LFing. One thing I know for sure is that its not a cure all as lot of ppl state in LF support forum.

My diet has always been very good. No indulging in junk foods. My husband could probably tell you better how disciplined I am abt what to eat and what not to eat. Exercising is very important tool for me for combating my constipation. Yoga and Pilates are my favourites. A healthy spine is very important as per my beleif.
I am glad to hear that you are now doing only six-monthly flushes. Good to hear that you are not overdoing it. I used to do them 2-3 wks apart. Last one I did was October 2006. I am happy I have decided not to do them anymore
I also had the problem of "thin stools" somtimes the diameter of pencil. Yuck. But it has resolved now. these days I usually have thick stools and feel a lot better. Anytime I feel constipated, I make sure I drink freshly squeezed lime and it helps. Apple Cider Vinegar also helps with constipation. Constipation can also occur from misalignment of lumber spine. Many times, constipation, lower back ache, bloating all come as a package...And some exercises which will work lower back, lumber spine etc might help.
