I have been on about 20 drops of DMSO to 10 drops of MMS for about 5 days now and this morning increased the MMS to 12 drops. I have not seen any additional effects from the DMSO so am not going to use it any more. However, with my 12 drops of MMS this morning I became rather nauseous and was unable to go any where. I had slight diarrhea along with it, but that has happened a few times in the past so that was not new. A couple hours after taking the MMS/DMSO I became very tired and slept for a couple of hours - a very long time for me when my daytime naps are generally in the 10 - 15 minute range - and I had a very good night's sleep last night.
I'm not really seeing any benefits from MMS and am rather disappointed with it. I do have some arthritis in my hands and was hoping that the pain (which is not constant) would clear up, and it hasn't. Also my ring finger on my right hand will not close all the way with the other fingers and there has been no improvement on that level either. I started on MMS about 4 weeks ago at 2 drops 2 times a day and built up to 10 drops 2 times a day over the weekend. No funny bunnies have come out in my stools, but that would be totally unexpected because I eat a lot of raw garlic and know that the garlic has taken care of anything that might be in the digestive tract.
I got the makings for colloidal silver a few years ago and I just didn't like the looks of the whole scheme. I go by intuition too, and I view gold in the same light.
Thanks anyway.
I've been practicing trigger point therapy off and on for 15 years. Doesn't seem to work.
The biggest change that I've experienced regarding the slowing/improvement of my arthritis - particularly in my hands, is a high protein diet. Was put on that by my clinic after being diagnosed Type II two years ago. Have not felt better since being on the diet - when I stick to it. 15 carbohydrates or less per meal and I often go much less - per the Dr. Bernstein Diabetic diet of 4 carbos per meal. I'm convinced that grains and grain products are behind a lot of my arthritis. Am trying to follow a pre-agriculture source of food.
Thanks
I hear you, and the diet I'm currently on would have frightened the pants off of me just over two years ago. However, it is the diet of an internationally recognized clinic which has had a diabetes research arm since 1923. I'm on their diabetes diet (which they put all diabetics on) and require no medication. The diet is 15 carbohydrates per meal for a daily total of 45 and is fewer carbos than Atkins induction. I bounce between that and Dr. Bernstein's (a Type I himself) which is 4 carbos per meal. Admittedly I fall off from time to time but for the most part stick with it because when I do, I feel much better and keep my blood sugar in line. Because a small study at one of the Arizona schools found that ingesting ACV prior to a meal helps control BS, I've done a lot of that and think that keeps my acid/alkaline in balance. My last a1c, a measure of the glucose retention of your body over the past few months, was in the normal range where in the past it has been on the high end of normal. I've been eating this way for two years. Several years ago I was a dyed in the wool McDougaller, but all it ever did was to get me fat and diabetic (though I do have a family history of that).
My arthritis has actually stabilized since going high protein, and has not progressed like it did before.
I figure that I'll give it a couple of months before I give up. One thing that piques my interest with MMS is that for the first 3 to 4 days I had an energy increase and then regressed back to "normal." (Whatever that is.) I also experienced much better sleep for about the same period of time - but that has not returned. That's why I slowly continued up to 10 and then this morning 12 drops. I basically lost a day today, but being retired I can do that. I know that some was MMS, but could also have been spiritual. I do spiritual healing meditations and sometimes get tired after a "good" meditation too.
Eating raw garlic will also kill off all of the pathogens that MMS does and is much easier on the body. They have in fact done some successful testing of it as a cure for malaria, which is caused by a parasite in the blood stream. I've been eating raw garlic for many years, and if I go off of it for a month or more, I get a healing crisis in the form of a breakout around my lips and nose - every time, when I go back onto it. Garlic also flushes heavy metals out of the body. So perhaps this is but one reason I'm not getting a reaction to MMS that others do. I've also done several oral hydrogen peroxide cleanses, for several months. So, I don't come into MMS without having had several clean outs.
I have a green power juicer and at one time had my apartment filled with trays of beautiful wheat grass but found nothing at all beneficial from that even with several months of ingestion.
You will see from another response to you on this thread, the benefits of my current diet. I swear by it. In fact, if we would go back to our hunter gatherer diet, prior to agriculture - which was high protein, we would all live to a ripe old age. (Scientists tell us that homo erectus didn't develop an increased brain capacity until they started eating animal fat.) We don't need juices or many of the 'manufactured' vegetables that we have available. Most of them are so hybridized that they provide little nutrition and aren't found in nature at all. A great read is the Seven Daughters of Eve by a renowned geneticist who points out that prior to agriculture a woman couldn't conceive as long as she was lactating which meant that she could produce a child only once every four to seven years. With the advent of agriculture and grains our ingestion of carbohydrates increased to the point where women's bodies changed and they could now produced a child shortly after giving birth. This explains the low populations of the hunter gatherers and the explosion of population after agriculture. If carbohydrates changed a woman's body, you know that they have changed the male body too and how much they have changed all of our bodies is anyone's guess.
Agriculture was the beginning of mal nourishment and the deterioration of the human body.
