I have had a hemorrhoid 'out' since Tuesday. I have done much to get it gone or in (for lack of better words). I used CS but my potentcy is only 16 ppm. I used a mixture of iodine, oregano oil and coconut oil. I even used a garlic oil (crushed garlic and olive oil) with cayenne...yes this one did bring LOTS of awareness to my bum! At any rate, I would put whatever on a cotton ball and insert in my bum, leave it in for a while. It seemed like it was 'drying' up. Today I didn't seem to have much problems, yet when I used the restroom before I began my overtime, there was a little blood on my pants and when I wiped myself. I was not pleased but thought okay, I will figure something out later. Well, I worked 10 hours and on break (before working 11 hours) I went to bathroom and there was LOTS of blood on my pants and when I wiped my bum.
It felt as if the hemorrhoid was gone. Although, now it feels like still there, just smaller. It has not stopped bleeding though. Have a feminine pad on...gave those up over 2 years ago!...and it is not AS heavy as earlier but there is still blood.
Please, can anyone suggest something to stop the bleeding? I have friends that want me in Urgent Care. I do not want to go.I work 10-11 hours tomorrow and do not want to give up my overtime.Right now, I am going to take a bath. I am hoping that the warm/hot water helps it. I need suggestions, PLEASE?!

Also...PLEASE...put your health before your pocketbook!!! Take the day OFF tomorrow...if you are still having ANY bleeding. And even if the bleeding has stopped...take it easy!!!
It sounds like the bleeding is slowing down...be careful with hot baths. Heat may cause the bleeding to increase. You want to use COOL-COLD...to stop bleeding...cool sitz bath...or ice pack.
And if you're not a vegetarian...get some good quality beef in you...and eat Jello.
You get to pick whatever color and flavor you'd like!!!

This is a reply to # 1,057,962My bath was warm, not hot (water ran out too quickly :(). Bum is not too sore.
Went to the site you linked and decided to use the witch hazel method. Although, I did put it in bum on the hemorrhoid. Before I go to bed, will use some aloe vera on a cotton ball and leave it in, to see if keeps bleeding down...or preferrably done!
Thanks for the link. Feel better after bath, with exception of slight back ache. It kinda reminds me of when I had heavy cycles :(. Think when I go to bed, will put bolster in there to keep legs elevated some.

OH and no, I don't eat meat!..LOL don't even have any here for Son, in this moment, to even attempt to eat some!

This is a reply to # 1,057,953iodine and cayenne both sound like bad ideas to me. I had this same thing. What helped me was C. silver and vitamin e. I washed with C. silver after each bathroom trip, and then rubbed on very liberal amounts of high quality vitamin e. I used food grade vitamin e, not the vitamin e oil sold for topical use. you can even even used the vitamin e as an enema.
juice fasting would also help, since it would give your bowels a rest.

This is a reply to # 1,058,107and am very sore this morning. I am even succumbing to Motrin today to be at work.
Can't stay home, due to Christmas season (postal worker) AND my attendance is in question right now anyway...LOL. Be forewarned (says supervisors) YOU MAY need to take days off, do not use sick days, just on the strength of!
I will use the C. Silver I have (16 ppm) throughout the day today and aloe vera, due to no Vit. E. in the house right now.

I know the difference and I also know, in this moment, I choose to not have time off with no pay (due to my neglect of attendance).
I am taking care of me...just not the way others would like me to :D! I woke this morning with a very sore bum. I called a friend to bring me some Tylenol 800...she had Motrin 800. I said good. (It has been many months since I have ingested anything like that). I took one and my lower half relaxed. My bum was tender but not sore.
As the day went on, I felt better. LOL THEN I (thank you God for my boots) ran over my foot with equipment. It scratched the ankle, my toe bent and then I was sore all over again....lower half. I took another Motrin 800.
I will be doing a Liver Flush this coming week, so it's all good.
I will be working as much time as I am given, so it's all good.
I will be taking care of me, as well...so, it's even better ;D.

This is a reply to # 1,057,953Apply Cornstarch generously to effected area. This will stop the pain or itching and reduce the swelling. This is an old tried and true remedy.

This is a reply to # 1,057,953i dont have a bathtub so i do sitz shower. stay in the steaming hot shower for 15-20 mins and then sit on the toilette and drip cold water from my belly button down.

Also, I have a bath, how does one do a sitz bath, at home? I had used one, after giving birth, at hospital. Can't imagine at house...other than what I have seen at some of my Seniors home, when I had done Meals.

This is a reply to # 1,060,081do a search on here or even maybe google there is alot of information.
i know very little about this but i found something that works for me.
the way i understood it was to sit on the toilette and fill a container with cold water. then dunk a wash cloth in there and squeeze all the water out of it, so it runs down from your belly button (just under it) all the way down between your legs into the toilet.
i think the idea is to show the toxins 'the path to exit your body'
i could be way off on the explenation but all i know is it works and it works well.
instead of the wash cloth i now just use a juice pitcher and let the water run down slowly, less work that way!
i think you are supose to do it for 10-15 mins and with water as cold as you can stand.
if you have a bathtub, then you can lay in the hot water before hand, as hot as you can stand for 20-30 mins. keep on refilling it so it stays hot. you need to feel hot all over, not just on the surface type thing. then dry off and go sit on the pot and start with the cold water.
by all means research it, i am far from an expert.
