I really should have made more clear on what I felt she (
Hulda Clark )was paranoid about. Her protocols for keeping clean, washing of items, body parts, etc. I just think it's hard to be 'perfect' but being careful, being aware, taking precautionary steps, are all good of course. But she had a couple things like, don't use chemicals and or store bought cleaners to clean your home with, let someone else bring it in and do it, at the same time saying she wanted everyone to take care of their health for the good of her family and theirs. Just kind of bugged me..no pun intended:)
And about pets, which most households harbor, she gave protocols on how to care for them, etc..but then she said, better yet..give them away. Well..as someone who loves her pet very much, I just can't see that as being reasonable, nor do I want it to be reasonable, as pets can be very healing for people,& not just companions. Our lives should be happy, full-filling, satisfying, and that may include having pet(s).
I just got a general feeling of anxiety from her overall, with regard to this book. It also felt like she was so excited, so energized (pun intended:)when she wrote the book, I wonder how long it took her for the bulk of it to be written? So, I can overlook some of the things because maybe given more time she would have edited some out. I don't know..it's just my opinion of course!
