This week my goals are to run monday, thursday and Friday doing 45 minutes, form intervals (one minute on one minute off) focusing on posture and lean. On Monday I'm going to work on lifting my feet exercises, on Thursday I'll practice posture and on Friday I'll work on lean.
My six body-oriented goals are:
1) To learn proper running form
2) To improve my diet
3) To enjoy meditative benefits of having a focused mind during run
4) To run without knee pain or injury
5) To feel good about myself
6) To run with fluidity of motion
I feel nervous/fearful about running in the winter in Vermont, and about injuries in general. I believe working on my technique all summer while committing to at least 3 x 45 minute runs each week will get me into good form by the winter. I can run more safely then.
