What a wonderful feeling!!!
Day 4 brought an un expected joy.

My girlfriend says we are on a divine path and that everything has already been planned out for us. She also says that if you want something just think about it and it will happen. My gilfirend says a lot of things.....
Today was a weird day for me. I don't speak to my parents. I havent spoken to my parents since a little before my first fast 6 months ago. Well that said, my parents introduced me to a holistic woman a couple of years ago. She helped me battle a problem that I had been having for years. I constantly had urinary tract infections and yeast infections. When I say constantly, I mean it. I would go to the doctor and she'd give me anti-biotics, a week later I'd be cured. Then 2 days after that I'd have a yeast infection. 1 week after that I'd have another UTI. It got to the point where I was on anti-biotics 2 weeks out of every month for over a year. In between all that, I was also seeing specialists of every kind. All anyone did was put me on MORE ANTI-BIOTICS! I was miserable, I thought I was dying. I demanded every test under the sun and still no answers. At one point I was on 2 different oral meds and 1 vaginaly inserted med!UGH! What a nightmare.
Then after all that my dumb ass finally tried holistic. What took me so long??!! Well guess what? It worked. I drank the tea (which tastes like crap)and took the pills and my UTI did not come back for 2 months. I did it again and this time it did not come back for 3 months. Now I'm at the point where I haven't called her in 6 months. What a relief! The money alone is enough to make me jump for joy, but having my health back? What price do you put on that?
Anyway, that is how I ended up here at curezone. On my own, I started self educating myself with "alternative" medicine. That's how I found this site and others sites that convinced me I needed to fast for better health.
Well, I told my holistic angel about my fast the last time I did it and she thought it was wonderful. She was realy happy that I had taken what she had given me and ran with. And today she called me today and starting asking me about the fast. I told her that I just so happen to be on the 4th day of the Master Cleanse right now. She then told me that one of the reasons she was calling about it was because she was at her wits end with my Dad and she wanted to put him on a fast. My dad is morbidly obese and shows no signs of slowing. She is hoping that this will help her in detering his taste for such "bad" food. I know it will. I think this fast will help many people with lots of different things and I told her so. She said she has been wanting to give it a REAL try for sometime but didn't know anyone aho had actually DONE it. She said she was worried about it making her tired and she wouldn't be able to perform well at school. i told her quite the opposite. It makes you much more clear headed. She said she was going to try it and the put my Dad on it. I thought that was a great idea. I was just thinking today that I wish there was some way I could get him to do this. I don't talk to them so I just forgot about it. There was no way I was going to open that door! As much as I may want to help him, I can't have them in my life, it's just not healthy for me.
Then, this opportunity presented itself to me.
Maybe my girlfriend is right......I was thinking today about how much my Dad would benifit from this and an opportunity prsented itself for me to give this gift to him. And it keeps me out of the line of fire. They will never even know. YAY!
