Day 7 - I've decided
My 21 day journey is ending at 7 but here is why....

A week into it I decided that it might not be a good idea to go for such a long stretch on a 1st run but that I should gradually work my way up to it. So I have decided to turn it into a 7 day fast and then continue to juice 2 meals a day with the 3rd meal consisting of fish & raw veggies. I am going to try to keep the majority of my veggies raw with the occasional steamed for variety. I am also going to work my way back to a longer fast by juice fasting every other month. 7days then 10 days next 14 days and eventually 21 days
Who knows I may end up deciding to go all the way to 40 at some point.
My true focus is getting a healthy gut because it effects every aspect of your physical and mental health. I'm also going to enjoy the added benefit of losing weight. I have already lost 7lbs. I figure if I continue on the healthy path that I have started and increase my exercise level, which has no where to go but up, the weight will continue to drop and my health will continue to improve. As it is I have experienced none of the stomach issues that I have been plagued with over the past few years since day 2 of my fast. With the exception of the acid reflux & burping with both subsided by day 4.
I will continue to track my journey here as I have discovered through my 1st 7 day fast there are tremendous physical and mental benefits to fasting.
