Drip! Drip! Drip!
Drip! Drip! Drip!
Did some plumbing with Cutty.
He pointed out how futile and
a waste it was for me to be
spending time managing this place.
He had some other kinds of ideas.

How very disconcerting!
Down in the basement, hanging laundry,
putting some on low heat in the dryer.
Over there...drip! drip! drip!
Like blood from the veins of the house.
Leak.
Leak.
Leak.
What a feeling of powerlessness.
Energy pulled there.
No telling where the leap is coming from.
Two plumbers, Rainbow and Cutty
putting in time, and how I have to
call in a Specialist with Advanced Equipment
to pinpoint the Source of the Leak.
Oh my God! Can I put my attention on
something else???
Got some stuff in the crock pot
suppose to build hair and nails...
great...laundry and Crock pot done.
Time to lay down.
I feel sad this leak is on-going.

Cutty just left.
I will see him tomorrow again.
That's the plan.
He leads the Encircle Tribe
Eco-Village Clearing.
He came over to see to put a new seal on
the toilet, and look at the leak that appeared
to be coming from the shower.
A whole timber is soaked underneath the bathroom.
He looked. He watched.
The other day the leak was intense.
Today we flushed the toilet repeatedly.
No leak from the toilet seal.
If it was that problem, it is not the problem today.
Do problems just disappear with plumbing???
Maybe Rainbow fixed the toilet, when he tightened
it down. I am not sure.
It sppeared to still be leaking from the toilet
every time Rainbow or I flushed. Not today.
Then the shower.
It appeared to be leaking in an incredible way
when I had the shower on. Not today.
Where is the leak????
We can hear a running water. Some kind of flow,
and the timber underneath the bathroom is still
soaking, but we cannot tell where the leak is coming
from.
Cutty cut into the wall. He could see some moisture
with the valve the controls the bathtub,
but it does not seem to leak when the water is off.
Is that valve responsible for the wet wall behind the toilet,
or was it the toilet? We do not know.
Cutty could tell from the meter
in front of the house
that there is a water running,
but we do not have any idea where the leak
is coming from.
This morning, Cutty was in my thoughts a lot.
I am not sure when I first asked him to come down.
I believe it was late last night,
when H wrote a note on the board that
there were too many people having to use
the upstairs bathroom.
She wrote that I would have to pay for a hotel
and that was going to be expensive.
I was already overspent from Friday
and ready for some downtime last night when
she said that, but I had to spring into action.
I called Rainbow.
He was out of town for the weekend.
Then I called Cutty.
I was relieved that he would come over today.
Monday, Cutty is going to call a specialist
who has advanced equipment to pinpoint the leak.
That is going to cost a number of hundred of dollars.

Cutty, what a sweet man!
He is partner to Jana and both of them
for lack of better words, aspire to be eco-villagers.
They get together every Sunday with others.
Not they come over for the Soilmates Sacred Circle.
(except for this month--they are taking that time
to celebrate their anniversary--26 years).
After all the plumbing,
we went to the side garden.
Lots of little seedlings are coming up.
I would have thought he might be more excited.
Then we sat in the area by the Olive Tree,
the Healing area.
The table is full of old Olives.
I said a lot of things.
I am weary.
I expressed various excitements
about our alliance.
Later, as the light was going down
on this special day when The Birthday of the Trees
is celebrated, my eye saw some beautiful scenes
with flowers in bloom.
I made some Art.
At that point, I began to hear Cutty in a new way.
He sees that me being the manager here is a great waste
of my energy. He feels I need someone to manage this place.
He believes that this place needs to have fewer residents,
and more garden focus. The garden needs to be a priority
for those who live here. It has to be more than just a
good place to live for reasonable rent.
He feels that the money to make the morgage needs to
come from other streams of income, such as products.
He seeds a steady stream of programs here
and people coming to garden.
I had some serious Quicken problem today
that was very scary. More on that in another blog.
He says he knows how to get companies to donate.
When I did the Art, I became more receptive to his ideas.
It would be great if fewer people were living here,
and the money was made other than by rents.
That is something to pursue more in conversation.
He is willing to talk more about that.
I asked if he and Jana would live here.
They like the place in many ways,
but would not live here with so many people.
I had a bright light of hope imagining
there might be some other way to make this place work,
some other way that freed me from all the Landlord
and manager duties.
I have a square hole in the bathroom wall,
and the leak still leaks from somewhere.
I am tired, but things do not feel as bad
as they did a number of hours ago.
