Day one - starting the fast, rules for myself

Date: 11/29/2006 8:53:50 AM ( 18 y ) ... viewed 2021 times Today (Nov 29 2006) is day one of my fast. I want and hope to lose 18lbs. Here's how the fast is going to work for me this time - a little different before. First of all, last time I was so strict!!! I didn't have anything at all to eat for the entire time. This time, I will eat one cracker a day to take some pills that are absolutely critical for me to take. I don't think the cracker will effect the outcome at all, having been through fasting before. Another thing I am doing differently - drinking organic hot tea with raw lemon. I know tea isn't the best thing, or even raw, but I have moved north from sunny Florida and can't get by without a little something warm. I will limit it too a few cups a day, but I am going to have it.
I am going to start with two juices a day and see how that goes. That is what I ended up at last time. I will do a citurs (grapefuit orange) and a carrot apple ginger. I'll probably switch it up a little, too, but for now that is what I'm doing. Last time I did pinnapple ginger and loved it - but I am too broke for that now! Carrot apple ginger = cheap!!
I started this AM.
I had one cup of white tea with a squeeze of lemon. and a juice made from 6 clementines. I am going to have another cup of tea before I go to the store to get more juicing supplies.
I can't wait to feel better. Juice makes me feel awesome!
