Day 7!
Really can't believe I've made it this far! Summary so far...
Date: 10/1/2006 5:28:48 AM ( 18 y ) ... viewed 2712 times So I thought I would do a little summary so far:
Hardest days: Day 4 and Day 6 (PMT may have contributed to Day 6 as I am due to start my period today!)
Changes:
-BODY: As I mentioned before I don't have a weighing scales at hand (that said, I am glad now because I don't think it would have produced results in the first few days as I was retaining A LOT of water... I would have just gotten disheartened and given up). BUT now my clothes are looser (more comfortable!), I have lost I would say about an inch from my waist and an inch from my hips? As well as losses from other random places - wrists, calves, luckily not too much from the breast area as I can't afford to lose much from that area ;) This is pretty impressive as I haven't really been exercising - only walking to and from work every other day (30 mins in total?) and a few yoga moves a day.
-FACE: More defined, less bloated
-> NOTE that with my body and face, I still fluctuate from moments of trimness to moments of water retention (maybe from the SWF?) - at times it's annoying walking around with a pot belly!
-SKIN: No sign of my eczema (hurrah!), a few pimples on my face (once again, this could be also because I am due to start my period), really smooth skin (a mixture of dry brushing, plenty of hydration, and moisturing)
-> At times my skin is really GLOWING - especially after I do my yoga exercises.
-ENERGY: On my first night of the cleanse I completely zonked out. Now I have trouble getting to sleep by 11pm. I tend to go to bed at 11pm and get up around 5 or 6 am? On 'rest days', maybe 7 am (only once 8 am). So that's about 7 hours sleep a night. Before the cleanse I needed at least 10 hours and still woke up feeling groggy. Now I wake up and I'm ready to go! I do not however have the "energy burst" I have been hearing about. Though my energy sometimes peaks in the evening around 8 or 9pm? Kinda annoying when I want to go to bed!
Lessons learnt:
-Detox symptoms get flushed away with the SWF flush
-How there really is enough nutrients and energy in the lemonade
-How connected my eating behaviours are to my emotions
-How powerful the mind is
-----------------------------------
As for today, everything seems to be going well, I don't think today will be too much of a problem (I hope anyway! There's still a while to go :) )
All the best
