The Baby Making is Back On!

Date: 9/5/2006 7:49:02 PM ( 18 y ) ... viewed 3609 times I hadn’t heard from my guy in nearly 3 weeks. I had a little issue with my phone, and I went to the Cingular (*I love Cingular*) store. They fixed the problem and asked me if I wanted to save the numbers I have on the SIM card. Well I hadn’t deleted my guy yet. That made me think about whether or not I ever really wanted to speak to him again. The answer is and always is, yes! But I have my pride. My pride says that I don’t go groveling to a man. So I sent him a good-bye text. It was actually a whole ceremony. I messaged, “I guess they can’t all be love connections. Thanks for our interlude and for encouraging me to purchase condoms. Take care of yourself. Good-bye.” I had a drink and was listening to Prince’s Purple Rain at the same time.
After the text, I got no less than 30 phone calls and text messages. He blew me up to the point I couldn’t call anyone else on the phone or receive incoming calls. Finally I returned one of his texts and we got going that way. He says his phone fell in some water and he lost all the numbers. He couldn’t piece my number back in his mind. He was waiting to put it back on me by saying I could have called. So I put all my reservations about his behavior and weirdness with former friend on hold to be examined later. What kind of man calls you like 30 times, damning up your phone unless he’s sincere. And the bottom line is, I really like the joker or I wouldn’t have contacted him in the first place.
I even told him of my plan to have his baby. He is very excited. But before we get down to business, we need to talk brass tacks. I don’t understand why this man has decided to procreate with me without asking me to marry him. I’m not saying I want that, just curious to why he hasn’t asked. Today, he’s said all the right things. All the things I wanted to hear.
I have a dilemma that is totally of my own doing. In order to prevent me from going back to him, I have bad mouthed my guy to my friends and family. I know if they see us together they will want to know what’s going on. I really want my guy. That’s not new and it hasn’t changed. Now I have to bite the bullet and deal with the fallout.
I do like how some things worked out.
1. I’m confident that My Guy’s devotion to me is equal to mine for
him
2. We are on the same baby page.
3. I’m on schedule for my little girl. Next month is a better
month.
4. I have instituted some changes in my diet that will be beneficial
for the baby.
5. I have clarity on former friend’s bull.
