I feel like such an oustsider!

One of the reasons I wanted to blog here was the hope that others would read what I wrote & want to interact a bit and post comments... I'm surprised at the puny response... Is it because folks already kind of know one another on here and just only want to interact with folks whose usernames they have seen for a whie?? Aside from the guy who wrote to tell me he wished my blog was about something else - I only got one real respnse. Kind of a surprise.
