Food Log for extensive food sensitivities 8/1

I have gotten rid of wheat and dairy and don't really miss them at all, other than the convenience factor. Yesterday I left out corn, and didn't crave it.

On the downside for today, I had a splitting headache all afternoon and evening - and of course have not been regular despite the use of epsom salts and enemas. That kind of lack of bm's always gives me a splitting headache.

Yesterday I was able to use a piece of a caffeine tablet instead of coffee (rationale is in another posting). Then in the afternoon, did have a little real coffee - it boosted my dopamine quickly and made me cheerier, I could tell my dopamine was low yesterday. I wish I knew if it is the caffeine that stimulates dopamine so quickly, or something else in coffee.

This morning I'm giving in and having my comforting taste of coffee instead of a caffeine tablet. But I'm also going to have a little bit of salmon with it - I read that eating protein will stimulate your dopamine within an hour. I'll make it raw salmon (prepared the anti-parasite way) because, this being morning, I'd rather give my system the easy to digest raw salmon than the cooked.

BREAKFAST
Raw carrots and a little raw potato (just a quirky food I like)
Black coffee
Some raw salmon
Then I had the following smoothie (cold foods sounded good for my slight headache):
Frozen strawberries, ice, coconut milk, and a little more of the special raw salmon

MID AM SNACK
A peach
Raw brazil nuts
Lemonade with icky splenda

LUNCH
Rice cakes with olive oil and a little salt
Carrots
Homemade soup: Mung bean threads, beans and legumes, rice protein
Salad with ok dressing (has a little soy oil though)
Potato chips
Ginger powder because I have a headache
Buckwheat (only) bread

Had a heachache all afternoon. Wasn't hungry, but knew that sweets or chocolate would have relieved the heachache - resisted the temptation though.

Had one sip of black coffee around 4 pm, and did a salt water enema and then a coffee enema, did not get much out.

5pm still have headache. I hate this.

DINNER not hungry but know that certain things will reduce the heachache, so had:
Watermelon and a few cherries
peanuts
peanut butter (the bad for you kind) with honey on rice cakes

EVENING
Still a splitting headache. In case it is aggravated by some kind of corn withdrawal (I don't think so), had some corn chips...and a diet soda (without caffeine). Ugh. The headache was so awful, and mine don't respond to aspirin or anything else, other than, OF COURSE, responding really well to eating something bad. True to form, after the diet soda, my headache eased.

Sigh. Had a green apple, and got ready for bed. Will take some herbal laxative tonight, but typically they do not work when taken on a day that I had this kind of a headache; and I'm stuck waiting it out and using a limited number of bad foods to ease it.
