Day II
Date: 6/16/2006 10:23:13 PM ( 18 y ) ... viewed 1835 times Well I have passed day two of this fast, which now after some further research will now fall into the category of a Master Cleanse. For all you that are familiar with the various detoxification methods involving the body this should seem rather familiar. So how did my day two end. With much irritability, lack of focus, boredom, and momentary episode of severe anxiety. Very strange. I contribute all these feelings, which took place later in the afternoon to early evening, from a ten hour work day in the field of banking. Dealing with people and their financial matters, goes without saying, can be just a little stressful. My cravings for food only reared their ugly head a handful of times during the day. My normal lunch hour, of course, and immediately when I arrived home, where the strongest sensations of hunger began to pound. This is where I also had a very difficult time finding any focus, at all, coupling that with an overwhelming sense of anxiousness. In order to combat these feelings I grabbed the local newspaper, headed outdoors, propped up a lounger near the pool, literally took several deep breaths, and began to ingest my normal dosage of evening news. After some time my mind relaxed, I could think clearly, and was much more comfortable. All in all I see a glimmer of hope that I might actually be able to accomplish this. The only hurdle would be if I ever experienced the torn apartness I had after work at work as this then would have to come to an abrupt halt. Later.. Day two is done… MMM syrup, cayenne pepper, and sea salt!!
