Day 36??? Can it really be???
Several things: Energy finally here, personal thoughts, and a little girl talk to wrap things up.

I have heard of this and everyone talks about it who fasts for prolonged periods of time, and I was wondering if I would ever experience that. A lot of people experienced it at ~20-30 days. It took me 36 days.
I guess what I can learn from this is that everyone's body is different, yet similar. We share the ability to heal, but some people's bodies take a little longer. Part of it, I am sure, is the fact that I am fasting after 27 years of eating the SAD. This includes hot dogs, hamburgers, pizza, fried chicken, etc. So needless to say, my body was going to need more time to clean itself up. I am sure it would have been very different if I had already been eating a half-ways healthy diet.
Anyway, I am stoked about eating raw food. I bought "Raw Food Made Easy: for 1 or 2 people" by Jennifer Cornbleet, which I am sure I have mentioned already. I really like the concept of the book. Who knew...the recipes are easy! But what I like most is that you don't need a dehydrator. A food processor and blender are fine for her recipes.
I am really getting into the grove of things. My weight loss is getting slower and slower. I think it is hitting a plateau, which I have read happening to other people. I have read that it will plateau for a month or two, and if I stick with it, it will start coming off again.
Plus, I am getting ready to start eating again, so my body needs to adjust to that, AND I am going to start cycling again, which will build muscle.
Some of the benefits I am finding so far is more energy (which took its time getting here...cute, huh?), and I have not been depressed or angry once for the past three weeks. That's unbelievable!
I would just like to say something personal. I want to thank God for giving me the strength to do this. It is only through Him I can accomplish things. And I also want to thank Him for giving us bodies that can heal itself when we don't get in the way. I really appreciate Him.
On another note: Girl talk. Don't read if you don't want to know. My periods are usually 5-6 days, and very heavy the first 3 days. This last one lasted 8-9 days, and the whole time was extremely light. I just thought I would warn the ladies out there to know that that sort of change can occur. It will be interesting to see what happens when I start eating again.
Anyway, I realize this was a long post, but it's been a while since I have had time or the energy. I hope everyone is doing well!
