Trying to get my head back around to a second cleanse
hunger v. urge to eat
Date: 4/21/2006 9:47:21 AM ( 18 y ) ... viewed 1956 times Just ate a lovely pink navel orange. Never had one of those before. Even though I just finished a cleanse a week ago, and have eaten quite sensibly since, I am having a serious struggle mentally about starting another round of cleansing. Might just be a hormonal desire to eat? But it is strange with how good I felt just recently when not eating.
Post cleanse results: Have kept off most of the minor loss made through the cleanse, which is good. My bowels are functioning well, not overly bloated with stuff, and the foods I eat seem to get through me quickly. I also notice an hour or two before I will need to use the loo that I get a minor wave of that toxic feeling from the cleanse when nasty stuff reaches the colon. Lightly, but I am trying to notice everything I think my body is saying.
Trying to only eat real food, and keep it light so the switchover to the mc won't be so rough. If only I didn't want to eat all the time right now. Trying to equate that with the way I didn't feel hungry on the cleanse, but did experience a desire to eat occasionally, which I resisted all but the mango incident. Is there a word for wanting to eat in contrast to actual physical hunger? Or is it so entertwined within the human experience that we haven't come up with a word? Or is it an English language deficiency? My curiosity bump is itching now.
