Day 1 of forever on raw foods. My goals fo this jouney are....

1. End all thoughts about weight. I don't have the time or energy to be concerned about counting calories, carbs,or fat.
2. regain vibrant energy, and maintain my perfect health.
3. Stop eating animal products for the sake of animals as well as my health.
4. To feel and look 25 years old (I'm 28) for years and years to come.
I am following my instinct when choosing the last diet I will ever follow. I have been researching this for the past few years. This diet makes so much sense.
I ate almost completely raw for about 6 months last year. They were some ofthe happiest, healthiest, most carefree days I have ever experienced. I lost weight, stopped my cravings for unhealthy food, felt great, had glowing skin.........
I may have done too much too fast because I gradually added more and more cooked food to my diet until I was back where I started.
I plan on making this a permanent lifestyle change, so I will go a little easier on myself in the beginning.
There are a couple of things that I'm not going to get rid of for the next few weeks because I don't want to overwhelm myself they are:
1. Coffee
2. Tiny amounts of healthy cooked food
3. Frozen organic fruit(smoothies)
4. Processed almond and soy milk
If these thing make my transition easier I'm ok with that. I heard the best way to go about this is to INCREASE RAW FOOD AND DECREASE COOKED FOOD. Every step away from cooked food is progress. Even just the addition of one apple a day is progress if its more than you had before. I will keep this mentality.
Another important thing is listening to my hunger signals. The only time I have ever succesfully done this was during my raw food period. I don't anticipate a problem this instinct should kick in a few weeks after starting.
Its 5:30 for breakfast I plan on having this really great raw granola I just bought with chopped fruit and almond milk. I will write later about lunch and dinner.
Hooray for me! I'm finally starting on my path to perfect health and beauty!
