End of Day 12
Preparing for trip to restaurant
Date: 4/4/2006 12:17:29 AM ( 18 y ) ... viewed 1711 times I made a high-vegee content meal for the family and then made some carrot/celery/sweet potato/cabbage juice for dinner. I've been doing mostly fruit the last 2 days, and wanted something a little more grounded. Need to start adding dark leafy greens tomorrow. I have some spinach and some romaine. The kale here was terrible, but my next trip into town I'll get some!
I feel discouraged tonight. Caught me off guard because I'm really doing well. I'm going to bed soon and I'll feel better tomorrow. It'll be raining all day, but I have plans with some friends in the a.m., and then lots of work to do in the afternoon/evening. I made double juice tonight and saved half of it for tomorrow's lunch. I had to dilute it again. Everything just tastes so strong! This time it was about 40% water. I also made some apple juice for tomorrow's breakfast.
Thursday both of my children go to the doctor for their checkups. Then we're meeting the inlaws for lunch. We're going to The Outback Steakhouse, and I'll be sipping juice while they eat some of my favorite foods, and I will not feel deprived. I will feel priviledged to continue regaining my health while they are sacrificing theirs to the temporary pleasure of unhealthy food!
