Day 10: Well it's all gravy from here on in..
It's late and I'm tired.
Date: 3/2/2006 1:12:19 AM ( 18 y ) ... viewed 1788 times Well it would have been if I had stopped already... heheh.. (referring to the headline..)
I felt hungry tonight. I have a theory on that. I think I have a parasite (or two) who are releasing some kind of hormone to try to TRICK me into giving up. To feed them. They are panicking now that things are going along swimmingly.
I upped my water intake to normal (2 litres) and then some (hot tea). Dang, it's a good thing that the ladies' room is only 20 feet from my office. Felt like I was heading off there every 30 minutes. Didn't have any bowel movements after noon but that's okay.
I am also thinking that I might do a molasses day every now and then to shake the system up from getting too used to the syrup. Although I have to admit that I really don't like the molasses. I'm not certain if I find it too sweet or too rich. It's sort of a tossup between the two tastes.
My sense of smell has sharpened quite considerably too. Getting on the bus in the morning is almost unbearable some days and I was walking by some guy today who didn't have a lit cigarette but honestly, I had to look for it, the smell from him was soooo strong.
And perfume.. gaaaaackk!! Don't get me started.. oh too late. Some of that stuff is just NASTY! Chemical based ingredients which smell 'wrong' now. I've tossed out some conditioner that I got at LUSH (a soap/beauty product store supposedly selling natural based ingredients).
My hygiene regimen is now down to Avalon Organic Shampoo/Conditioner, Dr. Bronners Soap, and non-flouridated toothpaste. I use a rock crystal as 'deodorant' with a follow up essential oil spray that I bought at Escents that is surprisingly effective in stopping odour. The combination is the best thing I've ever done.
On the subject of Rock Crystal in case people want to try it. At first, it may seem like it has no effect and may even make things worse. But that's because the skin has to release the old normal antiperspirant aluminum based products first and then the rock crystal has a chance to take effect. If you can get past the first 2 weeks, you're laughing.
I know this isn't as profound or as interesting as some of the posts on this board but then I'm not much of a journaler either. I write in a diary very sporadically and only if I feel I have to come to some kind of conclusion about something. I have about 4-5 blank page books going right now that contain a mishmash of items. You'd need to see all of them at once in order to get the timelines right. :)
Anyhow, I must go and filter water and get ready for bed. I've had to turn the heat up in the apartment to almost 27Celcius (around 80F) since I've been sooo cold.
New weight this morning: 172.5 (I have a digital scale with a new battery, can't seem to lose that extra 0.5 of a pound either).
'Nite!
