End of Day 3...SWF? Is it time?
Day 3-SWF time?
Date: 2/15/2006 6:41:12 PM ( 18 y ) ... viewed 2189 times I can do it! It is the end of day 3! In previous fasts, once I made it past day 3, it was smooth sailing. I feel so good that I think I want to continue to my DLW-driver's license weight-ha! ha! ;). about 8 months ago, I was so disgusted at my weight gain that I went to the DMV and changed my weight to my lightest raw foodie weight. I figured I would change my karma that way, wanna hear something else? I also make sure I take the gym locker with my short-term target weight goal for this month. Aren't I a dork...lists, numbers...whatever I need to do, right?
Back to day 3, I have not eaten anything, but will have to admit I drank veggie broth. But it is the act of not chewing that I am proud of because my mouth always has to be doing something (ok, get your mind out of the gutter). I have to keep my enregy up for my little boy who will be back in school on Monday!!!!! Oh my goodness. Bless his little heart.

He has seen me do the raw thing/fasting thing over the last few years, but he just does not get it. I wish I was vegan/vegetarian when he was born, then he would be wanting to be raw/vegetarian. Oh well, he is almost vegetarian, he eats chicken every now and then and then might have goldfish or some of the Robert's Gourment Snacks (Pirate Booty/Smart Puffs). He hates milk and cheese (thank goodness) He does not eat a fresh fruit or veggie, but he eats organic fruit snacks and we give him supplements. He pretends his food is a salad when he sits with me...he says, 'Mommie, I am having a bagel salad'. We tray and set a good example for him, at least he has exposure...I think it will get better in the future...but I digress...Sorry! I only mention him because the little darling has to deal with my 'mood' swings'.

Back to my fasting...still did not have a BM today. I had laxie tea 2x's ytdy, but did not this a.m. because my body is very sensitive to it. So I think I will have to salt water flush...am afraid...Not sure what the salt is? I buy sea salt in bulk in Whole Foods. Is that the same? I also picked up Epsom salts at the drugstore today. Is that it? Would appreciate some advice if anyone has it...meanwhile, I will be deep in the forums! :D
