Day 3
Background and a little about day 1 through 3.
Date: 10/5/2005 7:51:55 AM ( 19 y ) ... viewed 1801 times I was scared to write the blog, afraid that I would not be able to make this happen, but here it is Day 3 and I am ready to let folks know what I am doing. So I will start with a little about me.
Married to a meat eater, no children, one cat who is my light and life, a job that I sit on my backside all day, no exercise...
I was heavy in high school, (puberty was the true onset of being heavy), and it never went away. In the last few years it has been worse. I was 160 through high school and college, then 180 then 200 then 220. Plateaus when I exercised, gains when I discovered a new food. I am compact, though the last 20 pounds show more than any others. The rolls and the jiggles have increased on my 5'5" frame. I carry it on my back and hips.
After a week of eating gross Virginia State Fair food, including an entire bag of kettle Korn, I was ready to take charge. I was tired of feeling gross, tired of the acid reflux caused by food being pressed back into my esophagus by the fat rolls, tired of not having any control.
So on Sunday night October 2nd, I drank a bottle of magnesium citrate. That started the beginning flush.
Monday the start of it all, headache city, all day, lemonade was fine, can't afford organic, went with the big bag of Costco Lemons.
And Limes. Limeade rocks.
Did Salt water flush (SWF) on Tuesday (Not doing it Monday was the most likely cause for the headaches). Found Smooth Move Tea at Ellwood Thompson (local health food store) and a copy of the book that I had been meaning to order from amazon.
Here it is morning of Day 3. I am doing okay. More later, must get ready for work.
