MC3, Day 8
Onward!
Date: 9/18/2005 4:01:34 AM ( 19 y ) ... viewed 2814 times The last two days were brutal and I must admit, I was THIS close to saying to hell with it and eating something. But, I didn't and now (feeling better), I'm glad that kept the faith. Let's be honest, a big reason I maintained the MC is this blog. I've stated that I'm going 21 days, so I'd feel terrible wimping out after 7. If it was just me, doing this in quasi-secret like the first two rounds, I have no doubt I would have caved in, but I can’t let the CZ down! J
Oh, but these headaches! What's the deal with these things? I didn't get them the first two times around, which is why I was able to do 10 days to be honest. I don't usually get headaches, pretty much ever- so when I do I'm a big baby. Whahh!!!!
Something to note: I ventured out of the traditional MC territory on Thursday when I added BP shakes to my routine, thereby getting on the 'Ultimate Fast' onramp, full speed ahead! (Is this the source of my headaches? Are the shakes stirring something up? Could be!) Yesterday I bought a new toy (and I'm snickering as I type this, I'm so immature), an enema bag! ProPaul got me thinking, and then I started looking into it and thought that maybe the source of my headaches are toxins stuck in my colon?! I had been semi-constipated since I started the BP shakes, even though I've been drinking water like a suspected witch in 15th century New England. Well, a couple of productive enemas later and viola! Headaches gone, I'm back to feeling good, and 21 days is back into the realm of possibility. 14 for sure, we'll see how I'm doing next weekend.
As for moving into my new apartment, I brought a load of stuff over yesterday only to discover that they are still installing the new carpet?! That was supposed to be done Friday! Since it's not, I don't see myself moving anything this weekend, as there is nowhere to put anything. Next weekend just got that much busier. Ah well, such is life.
Peace everybody,
-MONK
