Qigong for Health
This is to be a discussion of the benefits of chigong/qigong exercise, including personal experiences. I'd like a sharing of resources that have helped others.

It has been a well kept secret until the last 40 years or so. It is considered a form of "soft martial art" as opposed to the hard forms such as Kung Fu. Tai chi is also a soft form.
I've been practicing qigong exercises in connection with my tai chi exercises for 10 years. I'm interested in the experiences of others who've practiced chi gong or qigong. I'm now teaching my own classes and my students are reporting better balance and less stress. Students are in their 50s through 70s. My own personal experience has been one of improved health and well being, much improved flexibility, and lowered blood pressure. Although my personal practice has been both tai chi and chi gong, it's hard for me to say if I have benefitted more from one more than the other. Both forms are taught as moves for self defense.
I am willing to share resources with interested persons.
