day 4 and I called in sick
day 4 of the master cleanser
Date: 7/21/2005 3:23:32 PM ( 19 y ) ... viewed 1923 times Not because I felt sick, but because there were no organic lemons to be found in my town so I had to travel to Boulder creek, which is a lovely drive. I stopped off for a hike in the Santa Cruz Mountains, meditated with a view of the redwoods, and got a big bag of lemons from a friendly cashier.
That is a good enough reason for me to call off of work.
This morning I weighed in at 107 and Im starting to look like a preteen.
Aside from the weight differece, I have noticed that my head is clearer, I remember to breathe deep more often and my thoughts are different that normal. Its hard to explain. I guess because I am normally so focused on eating and getting high, that without that stuff occupying my brain I am able to form clearer thughts. You wouldnt think so by reading this though:).I forgot to drink my tea last night, however this morning was the most I have gotten out of the SWF so far. Ran to the bathroom 3x as opposed to my average 2, and all within 1.5 hours, as opposed to all day.
My hike did not last long, as my stamin just ain't all there, but it was rejuvenating nonetheless.
I really hope that I can continue to abstain from smoking weed when I finish this fast.I am beginning to remember my dreams again, one of the reasons for me doing this. The last time I fasted for 5 days and abstained from weed for a month, I had intense lucid dreams for the whole time I was fasting, and I would sure like to have that back.
All in all I have had no negative side effects other than 2 mild headaches and extreme irritability. I think this also just may have to do with my being more clear headed and finding greater ease in expressing my emotions whn I am upset.I am not hungry and havent really been this whole time, although my stomach is doing impersonations of a thunder storm.I feel great, and as you can see, I havent really lost my sense of humor.
Signing off day four and feeling pretty good.
