IUD - seems to perpetuate the BV problems
Must get it removed, back to square one!!!
Date: 6/7/2006 1:50:02 PM ( 18 y ) ... viewed 6752 times I have had this IUD in for nearly 6 months now. Since January anyway - and I've had nothing but persistent problems with the BV again.
I have about 1 day per month when I'm not cramping, bleeding, smelly, or otherwise unpleasant that I can actually have sex. This is really getting to be a pain.
I think the only solution is to have the IUD removed. I've tried my previous method of treating the BV and it just isn't working as well as before. I can go a couple days without odor during which time I am usually dealing with VERY heavy discharge - some of which seems to have been caused by the IUD itself. I don't know if this is normal and I don't know if it will get better with time or not but I just don't think I can stand it long enough to find out.
I feel like I'm pretty much on my period all the time because i have to wear a panty liner every day for one problem or another. The IUD really just seems to aggravate the problems I was having before.
I think I'm going to make an appointment to have it out.
