Is there a cure for liver bile duct cancer?

This is my first time on a blog page and so please bare with me.
2 weeks ago my father was diagnosed with cancer of the liver bile duct and told that it was incurabel, which I don't buy into, and given a year to live. I did talk him out of chemo and radiation treatments because I thought that the best quality of life would be better and those treatments harm the body.
I have been researching what I can on herbal remedies, to go along with the physical, spiritual and mental aspects of healing the body, which is something very new to him. Along with that I have been looking for some effective herbs or treatmenst that would aid in treating the cancer and reproducing healthy cells in the body.
Does anyone know of anything that would assist me on my quest for something to assist in the healing of this?
I would greatly appreciate any input.
