My husband has also recently been diagnosed with bile duct cancer. He has just left hospital after a failed attempt to resect. He is extremely weak and losing weight.
WE also have decided against chemotherapy which is of limited effectiveness with this type of cancer.
I live in the UK and have found a book called The Cancer Directory by Rosy Daniel a terrific help in identifying sources of help both in the UK and abroad.
All my sympathies go out to you and your father
