Fear or the lack there of... Fear should not rule your life.... We must over come it or it will devastate us... Fear is the enemy of mankind... People have been ruled by fear for centuries, don't let this happen to you... Today am in Nashville; ya, opryland and such... Was by there last nite... Now it is time to head back home... Another successful mission accomplished!! But was stirred by news from an email friend that had expressed some fear in her life recently... Fear is a emotion based on not understanding something that is in your life... People fear conditions that they can not control or change.. They fear situations that are new to them... Therefore it is based on the unknown.... What we need to do is learn to recognize and overcome the fear or terror... Men have a fight or flight reaction to this .... But the former is the position to take, learn who your enemy is then over come him... {this does not just mean men} The famous famous quote by President FDR " The only fear we have is fear itself.." Back at the home range... This fear thing, people naturally fear what they do not understand... Or that is new to them... Could be environment, other people, new job, or even some close relative / friend.... What are we to make of this?? It seems that the fear is the result of not being in control of the situation at hand... [Now I know that we can not be in control of everything in our life...] What we have to do in each situation is evaluate the threat, most are perceived and not life threating, while others are very real and require immediate response to stay out of harms way... This is where the brain boot camp, and the DUH.... blogs come in handy; refer to each for details... Also read excerpts on the Quantum Intelligentsia and the Cold Water blogs by 9th for some other other wise council on this matter... What we want to look at here is the preposition of having your brain tuned up so you will recognize the threats an be able to act acordingly... Most things in life do require drastic and immediate responce(s).... But in the event you are faced with same it is wise and prudent to have your thoughts in order to respond properly... We all most likely know or know of someone who has frozen up in the face of unknown obstacles, and let fear direct their life... generally for the worst.... You must start learning to think...
