Feeling so blah
Oh yeah, something's got to give
Date: 3/15/2005 9:56:31 AM ( 19 y ) ... viewed 1813 times Still in prep mode for the cleanse. Slept so poorly last night, there was nothing restorative about my sleep. I'd been doing bentonite and psyllium shakes every night since Thursday (and replenishing good flora in the morning with acidopholous) but I (ahem) don't think I can go to the bathroom anymore. Am sure the legume chili I made hasn't helped in that arena so today will be salads and fruits with a dollop of raw almond butter somewhere in the mix.
Am toying with what sort of foods to eat after the cleanse (aside from the obvious veggies and fruits and nuts). Would love to do a raw diet (80/20% raw vs cooked) and would love to incorporate raw fish into the mix. My Mom, a very enlightened and cool ol' dame, tells me that since I am type O blood, I'd better get my red meat (um, yeh, could I have a side of hormones with that, please?). This diet eschews red meat, that diet embraces it. Eat raw, don't eat raw because Chinese medicine finds it too hard on your system. Do this, don't do that. It is simply so confusing. I guess intuition is the best guide but what if my intuition beckons me toward Hershey bars (kidding, that won't be the deal).
I guess I am 'putting the cart before the horse' and should simply get through this pre-cleanse week and then through my 15 day cleanse. Shall cross the proverbial 'nutritional bridge' when I get to it.
Such a gorgeous day out there just waiting for me. Off, I go!!!!
