Head Healing (in answer to a question)
I received an interesting question from a visitor to my website who has had a terrible health problem with his head for many years; others may be able to identify with this.

I found your website today and it is wonderful and calming, i have a question for you as i have had a terrible health problem with my head for many years. I work for the NHS in a responsible job helping others, all the while with a problem of my head making it difficult to go out and mix with others.During the day i play a game of hiding the problem. As you can imagine it has been very depressing as the people i have seen do not belive you and i have been offered no help. I am in my early 40's and life has left me behind, I have been doing very deep meditation sessions to try and cure myself,do you think its possible? have you seen results with this type of detached meditation or could you recommend anything else I could try. When i say problem with head i mean i can feel nerves from within like the brain is not well if that makes sense, all sensory details are o.k. Many thanks for your thoughts.

Thank you for your question regarding health problems with your head.
What I would suggest is getting hold of the DVD “What the bleep do we know” http://www.whatthebleep.com I think you can buy it off this web site.
The lady in the film has similar issues and I think you would understand more about your mind and life by watching it.
The other thing I would suggest is starting to look closely at your beliefs and the effect they are having on you. If you can, start to use just a little of your mind to watch yourself and try to spot the triggers and your reactions to these situations; then, using your awareness and intention, choose to act in a different way.
A lot of people can spend all their life focusing on what they “do not want”. What I am suggesting here is that you take a little time learning to dream again and think what will bring you greatest joy and happiness.
Then when you have a clear vision of your desires and dreams look for opportunities to step forward to those dreams and start to realise what you have just created in your imagination.
Be aware of your self-talk and listen to it; check it is not blocking your actions. Start to love yourself and appreciate yourself, starting with the finest layer of your being and working outwards.
What I am really asking you to do is go to the edge of your comfort zone and then take that extra step.
Start to smile at people as they pass you in the street and say “hello” or “it’s a nice day” etc. Become aware of your feelings as you reach out to people and feel the waves of joy in them as they walk past you knowing that you spoke to them.
Go to the Library and look up clubs and societies or get a “What’s On List” and look for something you can do that is new, where you will meet new people and start afresh with people without any past knowledge or expectations.
Be the source of what you would like to receive: if you want something to show up in your life, give that experience to someone else and notice your own experiences. Just start with small things or thoughts and be aware of your feelings and emotions as you do this exercise and the reaction it creates.
