Visiting a School
Today I was invited to
bring my story of "The Comeback
of Joe the Farmer" and the Plant Your Dream
work to Rosa Parks Elementary School.

I got an invite today to visit my first school
that has a garden.
The school is in City Heights.
That is close to where I live.
It is called Rosa Parks Elementary.
I met the teachers at the Gardening with Class Conference.
I handed out flyers of Joe the Farmer.
Kitty Gabriel approached me at lunch with the other teachers
and wanted me to come out.
I gave them some of the local foods from Noel Stehly
and Joe the Farmer.
It was fun.
The teacher who approached me is Kitty Gabriel,
second from the left.
