Love Letter @ The Turf Club
Love Letter at the Del Mar Turf Club.
Jorge A Miranda, a waiter at the
Del Mar Turf Club, the old hang
out of Bing Crosby and Jimmy Durante
in the 30's, and the home
of the Del Mar Fair, signed
"A Love Letter to Joe the Farmer"
Today.
I saw the Future Unfolding
in the Present.
It is Powerful!

The Gardening with Class Conference,
A Life Shifting Appointment with Destiny
took place today at the Del Mar Grandstand,
not far from the Del Mar Turf Club.
I passed the Press Room that said
Credential Press only. I saw myself in there.
Walking down the halls of the Grandstand
at the Del Mar Race Track upper floors
where they have restaurants and the Turf Club,
I saw lots of planter Boxes.
I planted a Seed Dream that they will grow
organic herbs and aromatic Enchanted Garden
specimens. I took this photo today.
This place is run by the Agricultural District
of San Diego County. I believe the have their
offices on this Property.
I am not unfamiliar with this facility.
I once did an exhibit here with the Price Pottenger
Group. That was a moment in History,
a real Enchanted Garden Epic event.
The Fairest of the Fair and I coalesed.
IT was delightful.
The Del Mar Fair has a World Class Flower Show.
That year, and the year after, I won Ribbons
for my blackberries and Finnius, a squash
that grew on the fense in front of my House.
Appointment with Destiny!!!!
Oh My God!
Jorge, the Waiter, took my photo and I took his!
This is Jorge A Miranda, who has been a waiter at the
Del Mar Fairgrounds for 13 years. We met in a dining area
today where there were about 125 Teachers who gathered
for the Gardening with Class Conference. The Salad
greens were quite exceptional. This was a nutrition conference.
I planted a Seed Dream for Noel Stehly locally grown avos
and grapefruit to be served here, as well as foods by my other
local growers who supported me at the San Diego Earth Fair.
This looks like one more exciting Seed Dream that I will
enjoy bringing into fruition, or moving along this Summer.
The Del Mar Fair begins sometime in June.
_____
I set Seed Dreams in motion that
Locally Grown Organic Food from Joe Rodriguez Jr
and Noel Stehly, and Sprouts from Sun Grown,
the last two new sponsors who helped me at
Earthfair, will have foods served here in the kitchen.
I also saw an Herb Garden that Joe with plant on site,
and pots with Rare Fruit Trees from Exotically
Rare Fruit Nursery. Stephen Spankler was a Sponsor
at the International Feng Shui Conference in 2005.
I owe him.
'
There are lovely spots for Rooftop gardens here.
And now, I have a new friend and ally, Jorge the
Waiter, who is in and out of the Kitchen all day long.
Do you get the picture???
These Betters need good food so they can have
their heads clear to hear their intuition.
I asked Jorge if any of the information
he gets from the betters helps him win at the Races.
He laughed. Then I told him, that today he had
won the Lottery through our connection.
He Agreed. It felt real good.
I gave him a Stehly avocado, $2.39 at Whole Foods Market HIllcrest,
I see tonight in their Local Foods Section; and one of Noel's
grapefruits, $1.99 a lb. One grapefruit sells for $1.99!
I have two boxes in the EG Mobile, left over from EarthFair.
Oh My God, I am rich!
Our frig is loaded with thos ripe Avo's.
What could I do with them???
I gave some out today as Prizes to the organizers
of this Incredible Conference attended by teachers
from San Diego County. I was one of the few men on site.
I got to do a Slow and Tell about
Joe the Farmer and the EG Mobile.
I handed out flyers that were left over and printed
by Whole Foods for me last weekend.
Good use of them. I gave each teacher one.
Then, two teachers came up to be at lunch!!!!!
Guess what? They work at Rosa Parks elementary
school in City Heights, not far from where I live.
Bingo!
I am going to take some time to upload some photos now,
and mail Jorge his.
A Noel Stehly Avo when to Krista Mendelsohn,
on of the main organizers of this incredible conference
held each year. The Gardening with Class Conference is
sponsored by the Conservation Resource Agency (check name of it...)
in Escondido, about one hour from my house.
A gave out a number of other Ripe Avos,
locally grown.
I always connected in Dream Time
with Rebecca Randall, who is taking over
the job that Josh had with the International Rescue
Committee.
What?????
Yes! Josh was the young man who was sent my way
last weekend at our exhibit by Ray of Whole Foods Market Hillcrest.
Josh is leaving to go north.
Who is his replacement?????
IT is Rebecca Randall, a beautiful woman who came
up to me today, and recognized me from the
Cultivating Food Justice Conference in early March.
She was the lady at the Seed Exchange Table.
She will be moving down from North county closer to the
Enchanted Garden.
Josh was working setting up a Garden at Crawford High School.
Rebecca with continue that project!!!!
That will be a local garden where I can contribute.
I have a photo of Josh with Joe taken last week.
Josh remembered me from the Cultivating Food Justice Conference.
I was sitting next to him.
He was wearing a T shirt with Jewish words on it.
