Record Keeping Stresses
Financial Computer woes.

Well, the Internet is working at least.
Been stressing the last couple hours
over the Time Clock on my Apple unable
to function, and needing to repeatedly
short curcuit the Shut Down by turning
the Power Off.
Imagine not being able to depend
on your Computer, an extension of
your Record Keeping. I have my records
in Quicken.
Set up to work on Sales Tax Report this morning,
but before I could do that, I realized I do not even
remember where the original of the Computer
is stores on this computer in case I would need to back
up. Attempted to do a Save As...
Then went down the Rabbits Hole
hearing the instructions that in order to do
a Save As I have to make sure all the transactions
that are downloaded are entered.
So there I go...entering the transactions...
three or more hours later this is complete...
I discover where the Original Quicken is
and also the backups.
I move some backups from the Documents folder
to a seemingly more centralized location, my Financial
Folder.
Then I make a back up on the External Hard Drive.
At this point, the nightmare comes into 3D.
I cannot access the Quicken program because
the Finder presumably in locked in the mode as if
it is attempting to find something. The Finder
cannot Find, and I am starting to shake.
Shut Down the computer a number of times...
want to put the data on a CD for extra backup.
Figure out how to get into the program....
Try to Print Sales Tax report...for safety...
that works... Try to print 05 data for imcomplete...
that freezes the computer.
Figure out how to do a CD burn...
Figure out how to place the Quicken Back up
in the Document Folder, intuiting that may be the
Finder Problem.
Back hurting on and off...
Adrenalin rushing...
Attempts to establish a Better System
and Financial Foundation show me
I can't depend on this Mac OS system
that is part broken.
Is is Mercury Retrograde?
I am afraid to research that.
A few good moments of surrender
to improving the Financial Record Keeping
System.
My Computer wants a new OS, I know that
and I have been putting that off.
Do I dare see if the Main Window will open now???
Should I try to print again the 05 hard copy
just in case....
Isn't it wonderful living this kind of Computer
Life???? (Sarcastic....)
Who am I?
Please God, Help.
I can't do this alone.
Help me get through this
step by step
surrendering to the process
if this is what it takes to
secure my foundation here at home.

Finder still freezing.
Not out of the Problem.
