Rosh Hashana!
IT is called the Birthday of the Universe.
It is the time when we write a New Life Script.
It is the beginning of the Ten Days of Awe
that culminates with the Day of Atonement..
At-One-Ment, called the Yom Kippur.

Has their ever been a time when the World is asking
more for a New Life Script?
Is their any way to have a New World
unless we write deeper our Soul Scripts now
in the world?

This years Whole Being Weekend comes right on Rosh Hashana
as well as the Autumn Equinox.

The Weekend in recent years has started to look more and more
like small encampments of Tribes.

This is the year, when we can join together,
those of us who are born from Jewish Wombs
to establish a Living Jewish experience that is both
Traditional in some sense, as well as Earthy and Open
to sharing our Evolving Tradition with the other Tribes.

I support this year's Whole Being Weekend as a time
of New Birth for the Universe.

What will a Jewish Drum Circle sound like?
Who will dance the Trimbles of Miriam?
What will we experience with the Rising of the Divine
Feminine Add?
What are the New Chants?
The New Water Rituals?
The New Songs?

The Jewish Torah--the Sacred Scroll--is sometimes referred
to as a Lover. How can we honor the Torah as Lover
at this Year's Rosh Hashana.

How can we make peace with the past
and begin to see that the Vision of The Promised Land
starts here where we are?

I know the idea of a Rosh Hashana
at the Whole Being Weekend
brings up a challenging experience for some of us
born Jewish who look to the Holidays for something we recognize
as from the Jewish Tradition. Hopefully we can gather and have
such times at this year's Whole Being Weekend, as well as open
to new forms of Judaism emerging from our Gathering,
that share and invite others to participate.

Truly this is a time for the Gathering of the Tribes
and this Equinox is a Holy Time for all of us.
