Day #2 Cleanup
Starting to Clean it all up.
Preparing to let the work go out
and separate the chaff from the wheat.

Caroline officiallly has the little room as of today.
The rug, once white, is stained, and hopefully
Rick from Magic Carpet with his non-toxic approach
can make an impact.
Caroline has been talking about bringing a potter's wheel
over. I will have to talk to Anna about clearing some
stale boxes of papers that have been sitting behind the garage
for a a year.
Stagnation.
Stagnation.
Things that do not move.
Time to move some things.
Started yesterday in my own space.
Quite a day of initiation into the cleanup.
Still holding to not sitting as much.
Longing, Longing,
coming to peace with longing
for more
more intimate connect
of all kinds not just the deeper physical
kind though that draws.
I accept.

as you are.
You are part of me.
Go and enjoy your summer of travel.
I have traveled.
I will travel again.
This is the summer of resolve
to take on the Hurculean task
the cleansing
the great Earth Cleansing staring here.
It all starts here.
Do you know that?

This can be a sacred site.
This body can be a sacred site.
This body can take in and give out
can share,
can share love.
Portals.

God has made between people.

wanting to take in the sight
of private parts

There is nothing wrong with that.
Poor Harpo.
Poor, Poor Haunted man.
Spoke to his daughter yesterday.
She married a Jewish man,
but stayed Catholic
as Harpo was raised till he went off
off into what some of us call the New Age.
There he found that Love is the Way,
but the hauntings
the guilts
the need to be nailed
brought him back to God
in a way I often wonder if God really wants.
Love is the Way.
Jesus is not the only way.
Buddha is not the only way.
The Gods of Hindu are not the only Way.
I love the work of Szekely.
One of his last Enchanted Garden Projects
was a dream to build Mille Meditation.
IT took the form of a winding trail along the side
of a mountain on the way to Jacumba,
the Hot Springs.
Every number of feet
I would stop and and see a Shine
here one to the Mayans
here one to Jesus
here one to Moses
here one to Krisna
here one to Buddha.
Can you hear the laughter of God?
Szekely would say,
sit the Masters of all the fathers and mothers
of Religions at a round table and they would be
in perfect harmony and peace.
Sit their disciplines at the same table
and it becomes square as their limited belief
systems ungrounded in nature
clang against each other as they take up weapons
to validate inner struggles.
There is no one Way.
Harpo had it when he hung the bumper sticker
Love is the Way.
For me, he lost it when he turned to Jesus was the only Way
and started to sermonize as if he was ten feet tall.
He was not ten feet tall.
He was 5' 6".
In his early days, he build his shape with muscles.
He went as far as to go for Mr. America.
He was lean.
He was firm.
He was on track with his exercising
because he wanted to live a long and healthy life
but he was not 10 feet tall.
No one needs to be ten feet tall.
We are O.k. as we are
needing the arms of loved ones
needing to cry
to scream
to yell
to yell out joy
to admit we do not know
and that is o.k.

attempting to cover up the Cracks.
Please.
Children need real fathers to grow up.
We have been beaten so.
Wo has not?
My own Father, he sits in a convalescent home
today in his neighborhood across the street
from my high school.
I wrote him the other day.
I called and said to the nurses, "tell him I love him."

I think it is Micah.
I wonder why I do not visit my father more
or call him?
Did he ever visit me?
Did I ever have him when a boy needs a dad?
Bingo.
So what.
I have to give this man, my father, the love he gave away to God
and all his flock.

I needed his love.
I deserved his love
so that I would feel deserving of love.
Harpo gave his love away
the same. He gave his love to me
not to his own daughter when she needed him.
He cut off people.
He cut them off because he thought
Jesus was the only way.
Today is a day to clean it all up.
