Self Love Day
This is a Day for Self Love.
I am going to clear my desk
and create more order.
I am going to be resonable
with myself, and kind,
and accept all my feelings
of love.

Today is a day for self-love.
I am folding two pillow cases neatly
and taking a T shift off the clothes line.
I am using my self imposed limits at the computer
now to blog a bit of the day, as I feel the awareness
that could turn into uncomfortable sensations starting to gather
in my feet--shooting pains if I sit too long.
I am accepting my blessings this morning.
I have created exactly what I need to grow.
I have exactly what I have asked for in the world
of relationship....
a Best Friend who is a Twin Soul,
who gives me the opportunity to mirror my own stubborness
and so many other qualities
who mirrors me in so many aspects of sensitvity
and quest to be well
who has a very deep soul
often in hiding
and chasms of cracks in between her
soul and body that eminates
fluidity of hip movement
where I am cannot move;
who mirrors me in lusty aspirations
from time to time.
The other times she is very much in her mind,
often blunt, often capable of triggering my deepest
abandonments and fears of isolation
yet she never really abandons
just does her best to be herself.
Most of the time she is just being herself
doing her best as we are, and I am just a minor
player in her daily saga
the stories we all are asked to live.
The connection goes deep, yet on the surface
on the surface of this earth
the challenge will always be to accept and love
her as she is, and love me as I am.
I once wrote a book called
"Prayers to Mend the Heart."
It speaks to enjoying your co-dependency
while you still have it.
Co-dependency is a word they like to use
in 12 step groups. It covers a wide range of
conditions and character defects.
I am not too much into the belief system
of character defects. I like what Rabbi Shlomo
Carlbach says about being scratched.
We are scratched by living life.
The Crack covered over, veneered over
from time to time takes a hit
and feels pain.
At the bottom of the pain
is growth and at the bottom of the growth
is a bit of our Soul in Hiding.
This is what soul growth is all about.
The soul is already in perfection.
IT is the little bit of God we are,
our individuality in God
yet it gets buried
Our consciousness is intended to be
an unbroken wholeness in flowing movement
all parts connected hip movement to heart feeling
heart feeling to thought
yet we live in a world of mess
made by fragmentation and split off feelings.
Mitzrahem-Egypt they call it in the mystical
Jewish-Kabbalistic realm. It is the Crack.
It is the journey that is asked bettween Passing Over--
the Passover--and arriving at the Mountain 49 days
later. We can sow/sew it all together,
all the broken pieces and in doing so, we restore consciousness
to the material stuck in the cracks.
Her hair radiates from her head like strands
of electric antenee, soft, capable of growing out.
She had lovely hips and entry places capable
of being openings for God for me
and herself..
She is her own woman.
She is every woman rising.
I rejoice in all the wholeness she is claiming for herself.
I am so grateful to be part of her process
and she part of mine.
It shall all lead to the Enchanted Garden,
a name for our renewed Earth
the Promised land where children shall
never be lost again but loved.
We are each those children.
We are learning to love ourselves
to be parents as well of all the little places
inside asking to grow up and out.
Today I am giving the day to me
because the Space I am living in
this Space of my Home deserves me
and I deserve to Live in Wonderful Space.
