The Earth is Asking for a "Take Two"
The Earth is now askiing for
a "Take Two!," a new way of approach,
a new way to do things here.
A story from "Confessions
of an Essene Visionary" comes
to mind, as I celebrate the Return
of Harpo.

I remember this time I had this blow-out fight with Harpo,
this very magical ageless character I lived with at his
"Harpo's Health House by the sea" at times 1974-1977.
I came into the restaurant. He was totally into
what he was doing. I came in like a bat out of hell,
insensitive to where and how I was stepping.
Before I knew it, we were in the fierce battle of wills
and tempers.
That day was a year after I was just coming back to life.
I just came out of the rest home and hospital
after hip surgeries, and was freed from being a cripple.
Suddenly I was able to walk again, and was reall
throwing my weight around, all 105 pounds of it.
Because of all the support I was receiving, I was
feeling very powerful and creative,
as if the life in me had been locked in a prison
and suddenly it was freed. My pre-occupation
with my release from painful captivity in my body,
and the horrors I had swallowed in the rest home
where I recuperated in Utah, were tied in with
repressed anger that was now expressing.
I was being insensitive to Harpo; he called me
"The Little Hitler."
IN the middle of this fight,
Harpo stopped and changed his strategy;
although he was still huffing and puffing,
he was always the great teacher.
He told he how I blew it, and how
I could have had what I wanted if I had approached
the situation in a different way,
but now I wasn't going to get anything.
I listened to him, and heard
how he said, "it ought to be."
I shut my mouth, turned around,
and walked out the door.
I changed my entire tone. Then I walked
into the restaurant, said, "Take Two,"
and said, "Hi, Harpo! How are you?
Are you having a nice day? Have you a moment
for me?"
He said, :Why certainly!"
I proceeded to make my request, which of
course was granted.
The people that were watching were totally amazed
and shocked out of their minds to witness this.
That is how "Take Two" was born.
I guess it's good to have a "Take Two"
where friends are concerned.
