Drips & Gushes
Sunday morning thoughts...water lines
dripping and gushing. Getting read to
go down to the FM and pick up strawberries.
Got some things I want to create real quick.
Head tired.

Very unlike myself.
Choose the conservation path
and stayed in the local area
rather than going out to
Hidden Valley last night for the
birthday party of Jorel, an old friend
who is part of the God Squad
at the Temple of HIgher Consciousness.
That is the property across from the
old Dr. Bernard Jensen Hidden Valley
Health Ranch and the his personal
ranch up on the hill that was for sale
is now not for sale.
The property remains in the lands
of Ellen Nadeau and Tom Wooten.
Ellen has not returned an email
where I asked if people could come and visit.
I finished my work around five yesterday.
Worked through most of the day.
There was also a Sandra Ray workshop
on weath building that drew me, but
decided to let the inspirations flow.
I decided to go over to Balboa Park
where they were having the San Diego
Healing Arts Festival, a day long event
produced by Ryan Altman, one of the
grads from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine.
Ryan has brought a higher octave of candy
bars and prepared foods into one slot
machine--I mean candy machines, but
they still have a couple incongruous machines
at the this TCM school where acupuncture is taught.
One sells soda pops ala Coke.
Amazing.
Got some early morning inspirations
and want to make a down to earth sign
so shoppers know that the locally
grown fresh picked organic
strawberries are for sale by the pint.
It is not obvious the way they arrive
in these cardboard containers that
hold eight.
Just went out to get some clothes off
the line, and some from the EG Mobile
that I planned to take up to Hidden Valley.
There is a leak in the basement dripping
where I took a shower. There was a gusher
in the front yard from a soaker hose that is
pouring water on Angels lavender...way too much.
Other plants are not getting enough water.
Feeling tired. I did not want to spent time
alone last night and was happy to hook
up with part of the San Diego gang of friends
I know who were at the Healing Arts Festival.
Took a look from a distance at the Earth Day
Tree nearby. It was calling to me, but I did
not go visit.
I always start screaming Mama when
and getting discouraged when I see these
leaks. I am just not geared up on all four
or nine burners for all the areas of my life
that need attention. Feeling some of that
pain and sadness right now as I write.
Wonder how the soaker hoses are doing
in the side garden? I hear the automatic
on now.
One woman was doing some partner yoga
being lifted up in the air by a fella.
Jane Purple was watching and pointed out
it was a good photo, so I took out my camera
and asked if that was O.K. The woman was
up in the air, being balanced by her hips.
"Can you spread your legs apart a bit?"
I asked.
Another in a distance smiled and said,
"Well I wish I had a dollar for every time
a man said that!"
The cell phone rang, and the woman
wanted to go get it, but she was up in the air.
I went over and got it for her. I thought it
would make an interesting sight, doing
partner yoga and talking on the cell phone
at the same time.
Turned out of all things, it was Joni,
my new friend, who was on the other
side of the partner yoga. I couldn't see
her face. She had hair all over that was
hanging.
It was quite pleasant being with the
gang. Heidi and Brad had been serving
vegan foods. It was the end of the day
and I mixed some grape juice with pear.
Later he offered me a chocolate chip cookie.
They were part of the former ownership of
the new Vegetarian Kung Food. Heidi
is also a Middle Eastern Dancer.
Joni had a mini date with her #1 Sweetie
but said she would meet me later at Kung Food.
She did not show up.
Set up a little table with my traveling rose
and read some local newspapers. Spoke
to a woman named Scorpio, and then decided
it was time to go home and get to bed.
Joni had left a message that she was closer
to my house than Kung Food. All is well in
that department inside me.
Up and at 'Em. Gosh I feel tired.
Got to get my head on and do some last
minute prep for the Big Strawberry Day
at Whole Foods.
