Lou and Bruce were delights to spend time with at the Feng Shui conference.
I am looking forward to spending more time with their book.
I promised that a couple would meet and fall in love at the Seven Love Cures class that I taught at the conference.
I asked Lou and Bruce to recommit their marriage vows.
It was a delightful time. They have been married for 22 years.
We used The Seven Love Cures in the renewal of vows.
All of us in the class gave Blessings.
It was a moment done of us will soon forget.
The Seven Love Cures Class was held in the Garden by the Bay area
of the Hilton San Diego Resort where weddings are held. The ground
was laden with rose petals from a Jewish wedding that had taken place
at the site the night before.
I will keep you posted on some of the things that I learn from reading this book
"coming home suggests something greter than four walls. It is a place where
we can rest our heads, nourish supportie relationships, and heal ourselves. Whether we're returning after a long day's work or a leisure outing, our home influences our lives every day. For some, home provides a peaceful haven, while for others it may offer different opportunities."
"...In these times of changing standards, perspectives, and values it is all the more important to have a safe and supportive place that we cna call home. but the name is not enough. We need to creat a residence that nourishes our physical necessities, prmotes emotional bonding, encourages, open indedness, and uplifts each person spiritually. Ee call such a place your core
home."

From their website:
Feng Shui begins with the awareness of how our surroundings affect our lives. When its principles are utilized, a space immediately feels more comfortable and becomes more supportive to those who live or work in it.
This design approach is recognized as the “environmental science of the 21st century”. Its principles are ancient, yet its practice is extremely useful in our contemporary world. Many leading edge design professionals are employing it with great success. This art has been proven through centuries to improve relationships, increase prosperity and enhance health.
Feng Shui, literally meaning wind and water, is based upon the study of nature’s continuous changes. In this light, a Feng Shui consultation can assist you in many of Life’s transitions such as relocating, starting a new career, newly wed, empty nesting, or divorce to name a few. You can create surroundings with Feng Shui that are congruent with who you are now.
With a history of several thousand years, Feng Shui has experienced many permutations and continues to do so as it becomes more utilized in the Western world. As a result, there are many schools and approaches to this artful science. The Form School focuses on the shaping of the landscape and its influence. The Compass School uses the distinct and specific guide of a Lo Pan, a very sophisticated compass. Birth dates of the occupants are taken into consideration when using the compass to determine the best arrangements.
Another form was introduced to the West decades ago by a teacher, H.H. Grandmaster Lin Yun. In this more contemporary form, Professor Lin Yun utilizes the wisdom from the traditional forms and adapts them to be more accessible to Western application. He honors all traditions of Feng Shui and emphasizes that each person needs to determine for themselves which form of Feng Shui works for them. His approach is based on a very spiritual understanding that as we cultivate harmony within ourselves, we can cultivate it within our surroundings. This is the approach we take also.

Your Way Home
in one section draws parallels between Feng Shui, NLP,
and TCM.
"Like a computer network, our bodies convey emotional expressions through our brain and nerves into our muscles and supportive tissues. Emotions pereate our personal inclinations and natural limitations including our need for sleep, nurturing relationships, and healthful food. Due to this innate wiring, people tend to feel their emotions, instead of seeing or hearing them.
...Our emotions manifest in a variety of ways ranging from approach/avoidance movements to tense breathing patterns, and chronic postures. The less people are able to espress their feelings, the moe likely these are to remain held inside as different forms of tension.
...These later tend to show up in the shape of tense shoulders, irritable bowels, ulcers, headaches, and other more serious somatic complaints.
...Using the approach of assessing a client's current conditions can best be done by including a thorough examination of their Highest Outcomes....
from the book...
Your Way Home uses principles of Feng Shui and the Psychology of Excellence, Neurolinguistics, to show how the environment we create
can help us to be who wee want to be, physically, mentally, emotionally,
and spiritually.
