Green California!!!!
I feel overjoyed and inspired
this morning to be looking at the
Green Lodging Program site
of the State of California.
I know a lot of good is coming
from State Travelers seeking out
and spending $50 Million a year
at Hotels that are going Green.
I know you will support these Hotels
too when you travel, right?
Date: 8/31/2005 6:25:06 PM ( 19 y ) ... viewed 2285 times It is so easy, to become cynical
and imagine that our Government leadership does not
care about the environment.
Our Government is more than 200 years old.
Many, many enlightened Souls past, present, and future--
including YOU-- ARE ALL contributing every day in our own unique
ways to make sure that our children
WAKE UP in a beautiful Enchanted Garden world.
If we succomb to short sightedness,
we start becoming the problem, rather than the solution.
For a mind EXPANDING OPENER,
take a look at this list of RECOMMENDED WEBSITES
to visit. THIS LIST IS ON THE BENCHMARK HOTEL LIST
provided by MY FRIENDS at the GREEN LODGING PROGRAM
for the STATE OF CALIFORNIA.
http://www.ciwmb.ca.gov/EPP/GreenLodging/Hotels/
THIS is the GOVERNMENT ITSELF THAT IS PUTTING OUT
THIS LIST as it INVITES ALL ITS EMPLOYEES TO STAY AT
GREEN LODGING WHEN THEY TRAVEL. THIS REPRESENTS
MORE THAN $50 MILLION a YEAR IN REVENUE TO THE HOTELS WHO
WANT TO GO GREEN. $50 MILLION IS WORTH MAKING SOME ENVIRONMENTAL CHANGES at a HOTEL!
THE ONLY THING MISSING FROM THE PROGRAM IS YOU.
Have you nothing to add to improve the GREEN LODGING PROGRAM?
Are you a Concerned Consumer with some good ideas that
I can send along to my friends at the Green Lodging Program
so they can further improve the program?
Are you perhaps chemically sensitive? Can you personally feel
when a building needs improvement? Are their products you might
recommend created by Heart and Soul inspired companies?
Do you have any tips to share with Rosario Marin, the former
U.S. Treasuser. who is now head of the California Waste Management
Board?
Are you a Feng Shui Practitioner? Do you have anything you can
say that could help my friends at the Hilton San Diego Resort be the best
they can be, as trend setting leaders of Greening?
Did you perhaps attend the Sixth International Feng Shui Conference
August 4-8? Did you like the Biodynamic Wine that was serviced
by the Hilton San Diego Resort? Di you like them having farm fresh
lettuce from the Rodriguez family? Do you appreciate that Your Enchanted
Gardener send a personal convoy in your behalf to pick up the lettuce
at the farm and bring it to the Hotel? Do you want to thank the
Hotel and the Farmers of the Tierra Miguel CSA who provided foods
for the meals, or Dennis Stowell, who gave more than 400 pounds of
orgnanic watermelons?
(See the list of food growers and sponsors coming soon to this Blog!)
Did you like the way the Hilton Co-sponsored Organic Celebration
at the Hilton as part of the International Feng Shui Conference, August
4-8?
I am here to listen.
Have you anything to say
that i can take to Sacramento in your behalf????
Would you like to Sponsor by Trip to Sacramento?
email Your Enchanted Gardener at
Plantyourdream@cox.net.
I am so proud of my COUNTRY and STATE that is a LEADER
in GOING GREEN.
I envision a TRIP TO SACRAMENTO i
TO THANK MY GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS
for GOING GREEN. I AM GOING TO GIVE THE MEMBERS OF THE AGRICULTURAL COMMITTEE ORGANIC FOOD IF I HAVE MY WAY
AND SEE THAT PHOTOS FROM THE ORGANIC CELEBRATION EXHIBIT
GRACE OUR STATE CAPITAL.
OF COURSE, IT WILL TAKE SOME FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO DO THIS,
BUT THE UNIVERSE DOES TRULY PROVIDE, DOESN'T SHE THROUGH
THOSE WHO HAVE EYES TO SEE, AND FINGERS TO CLICK MY PAYPAL.
