When the earth were left as it is,I think it is better to make the earth anew as is claimed by Ohmoto(the central consciousness of the universe) .
The human way of thinking has not been changed until now because consciousness in the universe don't admit the work of Stone gods who were kind enough to make the earth the place where it is possible for creatures to live comfortably.

There is no other way for preventing the extermination of the earth except for the change of the human consciousness but it seems impossible.
The only way to prevent the extermination of the earth is humans should notice why the earth became the star on which creatures can live.
The answer can't be got for it because today's science is making for the absolutely different direction.
