Juicers at the ready...
Almost ready to start.

I remember juicing apples in it after school and realising then that fresh made juice is an entirely different thing to the pasteurised bought stuff. This juicer has seen me through many a juice fast from the mid 1990's onwards. First I did a four day fast, then a year later I managed a full week under the guidance of a naturopath, who introduced me to the concept of bowel cleansing at the same time.
My husband bought me a twin gear Oscar juicer about 7 years ago when I did a full one month juice fast. The Oscar's great for carrots, beets and apples, but I really prefer the Breville for cabbage and other green leaves.
Both juicers are assembled and on stand-by. ;)
Over the last week I've cut down my coffee to one cup per day (from two). This morning I'll have coffee out with my mother, then hopefully I'll be able to go cold turkey...
I'm going to get some housework done now - clear the decks so to speak. :D
