2014 In Retrospect
With Mercury Retrograde in Libra now it is natural to allow "retrospect" on at least the previous three months or so.
Date: 10/14/2014 4:12:27 AM ( 10 y ) ... viewed 1042 times This morning (Monday the 13th) VerDarLuz sent notice regarding a "Soul-Contracts and Karmic Partnerships Webinar" in which he said:
"... 2014 - The Year of the Horse is the year of riding that crazy wild stallion of relating - ..."
Had I known on New Year's Day that 2014 would be "the year of ..." (just as VerDarLuz says) I'd have come into this year with a whole different perspective! It seems that my "reading" on the year must have been permeated with my wishful projections as I do know I had some kind of expectation (based on the Chinese New Year image of the "Wood Horse") that there would be great opportunities for me to "mount" onto as long as I was willing to do my part (including working as hard as necessary to fully seize the opportunities). However, a number of times when I looked at the astrological specifics each month I wondered: when is "the horse" going to begin to gallop? And yet in retrospect, I now see that I had a number of "rides" on a really "crazy wild stallion of relating"!

As we are entering the pre-shadow phase of the current and 2nd Mercury retrograde for 2015 I am inspired to mark my calendar of each phase. I'm also delighted to see the following:
The Two Levels of Mercury Retrograde -
"Mercury retrograde occurs at two levels. At one level, there is not much you can do with the actions of others, except to be more conscious and prepare for delays and errors by double checking.
But at the personal level you can do a lot in order to avoid the consequences of Mercury Retrograde. Most of us encounter the consequences when we are not centered, aware or conscious of what is going on around us, and more often than not the culprit is that we are not acting from our heart and spirit.
... In that way we act from our shadow, and that is what mercury retrograde is all about.
... As much as outer work is challenged by Mercury Retrograde, introspection and inner work is very supported. Take advantage of Mercury Retrograde by clearing your own tendencies to get caught up in your own shadows and those of others."[1]
This particular kind of "clearing" work can be very highly supported by including Gene Keys contemplation as this work can shed possibly the best light on the whole arena of Shadows - "your own and those of others!"

Just discovered: "Empowered Human Design" among my search results for "Human Design"mercury:
"Communicating is sharing something within us with someone else. This is a form of manifestation. Mercury might be weaving people and experiences back and forth with its retrograde movement in order for us to face the challenge of being honest in our self-expression and actualization."[3]
