Peeling lips cured and new protocol
Strongyloides treatment change in protocol
Date: 3/13/2014 7:45:49 AM ( 10 y ) ... viewed 9255 times The long strings that peeled off of my bottom lip were firmly attached at one end, and I always thought they were worms. Looks like I was right. I had started putting Ivermectin onto my lip during my protocol, and they peeled worse than ever for awhile. They have never gone this long without peeling, but they have not peeled since the last day I took the meds.
Unfortunately, I'm starting to feel the squiggling in my right eye again, and it's watering some in the morning. A little bit of white "sand" coming out of the corners, but not much and not every day. Still, evidently, I will not get all of those until I start taking the meds again. I'll also be using the iodine eye drops: 2 drops 5% lugols in 2 ozs. distilled water. That seems to really help with the squiggling and clears up my eyes too.
I'm starting back on Sunday, taking my regular dose of Iver and 5.25ml of ABZ, which is equal to 600mg tablet. Studies show that a single dose of 600mg of ABZ and a single dose of Ivermectin each killed about 83% of the strongyloides in chronic cases, so I figure if I take them once a week, it should clear up what's left eventually. So this will be my dosage:
ABZ - 600mg 1x week, 2 weeks on, 1 week off for 8 weeks, which will be 6 doses in 8 weeks.
Ivermectin - once a week forever, just like the protocol says.
Right now, I'm feeling much better, have more energy, and my brain is working better. I think there are still cysts in my brain, so the ABZ may or may not take care of those.
Will report my progress as I go. I'm starting this on Sunday.
