Day 30: ICU's Strongyloides Protocol
Round two of Albendazole
Date: 3/4/2014 10:25:14 AM ( 10 y ) ... viewed 8037 times First day back on Albendazole after the break. Took it an hour ago, and have already started having pains in my right temple. I hope I don't have those horrific abdominal cramps this time around, or I may just stop taking it altogether.
Soaked my feet in hot water with borax and Epsom salts last night, and got a lot of stinging. Scraped the dead skin off my feet with a dull knife, which I find does a lot better than a pumice stone. The weird thing about the skin on my heels is that it sometimes peels off in long, thin strips that seem to have a head, but it just looks like skin, so very strange. When I scrape it off, it is a sand-like powder, mostly white bits like the strongyloides larvae. I sometimes wonder if the soles of my feet are made entirely of dead parasite bodies. When they stop burning at night, I will know they are all gone.
I'm not sure this protocol is doing much good with the parasites in my hands and fingers, so I've tried something new for that. I make my own orange oil cleaner with orange peels, water and white vinegar. I noticed a while back that when I peel an orange, the white larvae tend to come out of my fingertips, so I decided to do an experiment.
I took the skin of one large California navel orange with the white inside and pounded it with a meat mallet, then cut it into small pieces and packed it into a small Mason jelly jar. Poured distilled water on it and put it on a candle warmer overnight. Now after this, I usually put all of this into a water/white vinegar mixture, leave it for 24 hours, then strain the peel out, but this time I took the full-strength oil/water and put it onto my hands and fingers.
VOILA! Within seconds, small white things started exiting my fingers. Not a lot on my hands, but those mostly on the knuckle pads in my palms. There were the small white rod-shaped things I'm assuming are strongyloides, and fluffy things I assume are scabies. I wish I had a microscope or even a decent camera, but alas, I do not.
It seems these critters HATE citrus oil. I knew they did not like lemon juice, but over time, they have become immune to most things I used, such as ACV, coconut oil, lemon juice and even sulfur creams. It seems now that I've hit them with some new stuff; namely the aspirin peel and now citrus oil, they are not able to withstand it.
I know the meds are getting to my fingers, but I think there are just so damned many of them there, it's having a hard time killing them all, so I'm going to try to use these two things to supplement. It's not like thousands are pouring out of my fingertips, but every little bit counts.
Another strange thing I've noticed is the sensation of spiders crawling on my skin, or hair being pulled across my skin. I have no idea what that would be, except maybe scabies that have escaped and are crawling across the top of my skin before they burrow in. Not associated with stinging, though, so can't tell you what is causing it.
Curioser and curioser these demons be.
UPDATE: I'm starting to get those same abdominal pains as I had before. I'm going to take my dose tonight, but if it gets worse tomorrow, I'm going to cut back to once a week on the ABZ.
