This was purely accidental this morning, but apparently tobacco is known to be the patron herb of healing for some lost causes. I was smoking a cig and accidently dropped ash (no fire) into the wound. The "scab" like matter was already off and all I could see was the pink to red flesh under where it had been. I was going to wipe it off, but out of sheer desperation...I left it on for 5 minutes. I went to wash it off and noticed no change to that surface, but 4 of what might be mites had come out around the open wound, and then I saw it...quickly rising from one of the sides of the wound was something pretty big and it was the same color as my flesh and it looked kinda funny, but I wasn't going to complain...all I had to do was pick it up with a pair of tweezers and I set it down on a piece of plexiglass. Within 20 minutes it had shrunk considerably and was now a reddish color with black around a couple of the edges. I attempted this a second time...with just tabacco and got results, but the ash works better in my opinion as it fully hits all the area. I have also gotten out a few very thin fibers or hairs..not sure which. Remember, if you try this...you need to removie the "scab", let it sit for a few minutes...and the water helps really bring it up. I don't know if this makes any difference but I was using the cheap "Buoy" roll your own brand. I doubt it does, but just in case you wanted to know-there it is. It's probably going to take several applications because these things are layered one on top of another in your skin.
