we are conscious beings.
We are aware that I am.
And that awareness is underneath all stories. ":

I found this based on my search for; "I Am therefore I Think" which I realized during my sitting contemplation yesterday afternoon.
Years ago I had a conversation with an author who insisted that we all have our stories and that our stories are virtually all that we have, know and/or can say of our life. I didn't buy that and yet I was not able to articulate differently to this author, at that time. Now that has changed. My life now is filled with letting go of all stories.
Most of the potential stories that I observe in my own mind our ones that either are "set up" or opposed with some "other" playing the role of an antagonist. The form is nothing new and in fact the classic three part movement of any story's foundation that ends with "resolution". I have already resolved to let go of all the "acts".
Years ago I had lived out "my life as a story" with a depth and passion that completely consumed the "script", reducing it to ashes. It left me with no desire for another "act". Then I found Dyads (initially in an Enlightenment Intensive) and find that conscious co-creative communications is life to me. There is no need for a story. In fact I have a kind of antipathy for stories.
