RECOVERING FROM A WEAKENED STATE
I had to get there. January 23, 2013 was International Integrative Medicine Day, and we had an gathering that brought together hopeful healing elements drawn to acknowledging and advancing Integrative Medicine in San Diego.
My immune system has been down for well before December 21, the Winter Solstice. I was starting to recovery on that night from cold symptoms--rare from me--when an acupuncturist--a mom with two little ones--came close to our station where Nadine and I were grinding ancient wheat of KAMUT ® and planting Intentions with that pure organic Khorasan grain.
The accupuncturist announced she was overcoming the flu--it was within minutes that I felt a hit to my immune system. I was down already from sitting too long at the computer and emotional stress.
Since then, I have been missing opportunities to go out. I have been on a learning curve to remember what makes me strong.
I still have a ways to go. I know the healing I am seeking does not come in a bottle. It comes from a lifestyle shift. I am grateful as well that I know Natural Remedies that work. I continue to pull remedies from my arsenal.
I will be right back.
The best remedy I know is the Garden Cure. Planting Dreams with Seeds and they appreciating how nature grows. Luther Burbank, a great horticulturist, reminded me of that lesson--plants and youth grow by the same rules of nature.
What will ti take to regain my strength?
WHAT ARE THE TOOLS IN MY TOOLBOX?
I need to start including more movement into my life.
I need to remember my dreams, even in the midst of clearing out the old clutter in my work.
I need to accept the limits of Virtual Technology. The computer is always going to need attention and a back up. It will always be freezing and giving me shocks.
It is Nature's Original Technology that is supreme on this planet, and that is the message I am am going out now to see in my own garden.
