WORK AT THE LOCAL HILLCREST FARMERS' MARKET
Each Sunday I spend time at our local Hillcrest Farmers' Market. Many shoppers would benefit from understanding the unique gifts each of the vegetables bring.
Dr. Bernard Jensen, in his practice with more than 350,000 people for more than 50 years of practice helped the people who came to him reawaken conversations with vegetables. He knew his vegetables. He knew their biochemical make up and how many of them could be used to influence the state of health of specific organs of the human body.
We will begin in 2013 to reawaken conversations with vegetables, and move on to look at some of the other things that inspired him to say he was a Nature Boy.
LOOKING AT DR. BERNARD JENSEN'S MAGIC SURVIVAL KIT
In his Magic Survival Kit, a series of four books, he set forth the romance of seeds, spoke of growing sprouts, the value of berries, and chlorophyll, nature's blood builder, as essential keys to health.
OTHER KID PROJECTS AND INTENTIONS
These will involve KAMUT ® BRAND and Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds in 2013
Increase kids contact with the garden. Seeds to a number of places in 2013,
including Hami High Garden, Community Garden Tecate, Cappiatra Garden San Diego, Ethno Botany Garden.
