The incident in Penn state never showed pathogenic bacteria in the split samples. Split samples are taken in pairs with one sample of milk for the farm to test and the other for the agency.
The percentage of people who are drinking raw milk is steadily on the rise. That concerns corporate milk industry! The percentage of people drinking their milk is falling. That concerns big milk as well! It's a business concern; not a health concern.
The so called "danger" in raw milk is a scare tactic and it is not working. Not that there never ever was a verified incident with raw milk, however you have more risk getting eaten by a shark than you have getting sick form raw milk! Get a grip on perspective!
Since the scare tactics didn't work, the food police were sent out to harass the finest American farmers, farmers like Vernon Hershberger in Wisconsin who has never had a single incident of any kind of health issue with his raw milk. Yet he has a four count criminal trial scheduled for September 25 in Sauk county. We need to enlighten the jury pool there regarding "jury nullification". In the meanwhile Vernon is exercising his Natural Rights to farm the way he has been all along and in the tradition of farmers going back to antiquity.
Raw milk has always been part of humanity's diet wherever milk animals can thrive! It is not going away! The day will come when the whole truth about raw milk will be common knowledge.
